The Sunset Dinner Cruise offers a stunning panorama of the East China Sea as the sun sinks below the horizon. A growing number of guests enjoy the cruise throughout the year. The changing weather and cloud patterns make each cruise a unique experience.

The Night Dinner Cruise sails past Naha Port showcasing the nightlights of Naha close up and from an unusual perspective.

A variety of French dinner courses are served in the second-deck restaurant accompanied by live entertainment. Alternatively, a BBQ dinner is served on the open third deck from April through November.

Changes to Moby Dick Dinner Cruise Schedule

Sunset and Night Cruises are available

Minimum of 20 participants per/departure required

There will be no dinner cruises from Apr. 5th through 23rd, because of the annual maintenance and safety inspection of Moby Dick. The regular schedule resumes on Apr. 24.

* Alcohol disinfectant dispensers are positioned throughout the ship (indoors, boarding gates, restrooms, etc.)

We offer dishes prepared with ingredients from Okinawa, and create dishes with various seasonal ingredients. All of our dishes are created with utmost care for our guests to enjoy the food and their time on Moby Dick. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you on board.

Guests on board for their birthday, wedding anniversary, or engagement receive a free framed photograph and a few more surprises. In addition, "Happy Birthday" sung by the ship's entertainer can be requested (only on the 2nd Floor, not the BBQ area).

Dinner menu

Special meals can be prepared for vegetarians and passengers with food allergies or any other special dietary requirements. Please inform us of any food allergies or special dietary needs at least three days prior to the service date.

Please choose your preferred course from each of the French-style courses on the menu. Course meals on the second floor are served in half buffet style where you can help yourself with today’s soup, salad bar, and coffee or tea.

 

Diamond Course (12,600 yen per person)

Meal: Selection of hors d’oeuvres, lobster thermidor, Motobu beef tagliata served all’ortolana marinated in wasabi and soy sauce, homemade bread or rice, dessert, salad bar

 

 

 

Ruby Course (10,900 yen per person)

Meal: Selection of hors d’oeuvres, Kumejima Island prawns and red sea bream in acqua pazza, beef rib roast steak, homemade bread or rice, dessert, salad bar

 

 

 

Special Steak Dinner (10,800 yen per person)

Meal: U.S. sirloin steak (500g), homemade bread or rice, dessert, salad bar

*Alternatively Japanese Wagyu Beef (180g).

 

 

 

Sapphire Course (8,900 yen per person)

Meal: Sashimi, grilled fish, stewed dish, Chawanmushi (savory egg custard dish), deep-fried dish, other side dish, pickles, rice, clear soup, sweets *Some dishes change according to season.

 

 

 

Emerald Course (8,200 yen per person)

Meal: Selection of hors d’oeuvres, white fish poêlé, low temperature steamed Shima Buta pork & bratwurst, homemade bread or rice, dessert, salad bar

 

 

 

Coral Course (6,800 yen per person)

Meal: Selection of hors d’oeuvres, white fish & Okoge scorched sweet chili, chicken and seasonal vegetable vapeur Giapponese, homemade bread or rice, dessert, salad bar

 

 

Vegetarian Course (6,900 yen per person)

Meal: Fresh seasonal vegetable crudité, an appetizer with a veggie roll, salad bar, soup (with ground seasonal vegetables), pasta (pepperoncino with seasonal vegetables), main dish (Ratatouille with Hiryuzu deep-fried tofu and local vegetables), assorted fruits

Meal: Meats (beef loin, Ryukyuan Agu pork, thick slices of marbled Japanese Wagyu beef, beef short ribs), sausages, large salad, grilled vegetables, rice, dessert

Revel in this BBQ course with aguu pork and wagyu beef as you enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves.

*In the event of inclement weather, strong wind, or heavy rain, the open-air deck may be closed and an alternate French course dinner will be served at the restaurant on the second floor for those who opted for the BBQ.

Flower bouquets

A bouquet of flowers can be customized to meet your occasion and budget. Please specify your preferences, such as color theme and flower type when sending us an inquiry. Free delivery to your dinner table on the cruise is available. *A minimum of 8,000 yen is required for a flower bouquet order.

Other

A large variety of drinks, including sparkling wine, beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, are available on board. You can place drink orders directly with the wait staff at dinner.

Cancellation policy

  • - Cancellations made 2 days prior to the service date will be charged 25 percent of the quoted full rate as a cancellation fee.
  • - Cancellations made 1 day prior to the service date will be charged 50 percent of the quoted full rate as a cancellation fee.
  • - Cancellations made on the same day of service will be charged the quoted full rate as a cancellation fee.
  • - Please inform us of your cancellation at least two days prior to the service date in order to avoid any cancellation fees.
  • - A full refund will be issued for the cruises canceled by the operator due to inclement weather, typhoon or other unforeseen circumstances.
