• Book Now, Plan Later: Due to the high demand and limited number of fluent English-speaking drivers on the island, we strongly encourage you to secure your vehicle and driver first. Once your booking is confirmed, we can work together to finalize all the exciting details of your tour.

Important Service Details & Policies

• Time-Based Calculation: The charter time starts the moment you board the vehicle at your designated pick-up point and ends when you exit. The rate is calculated strictly according to the duration of use, regardless of your destination or the number of stops.
• Payment & Extra Charges: Payment must be made in advance. If your tour runs over the scheduled timeframe, we will send an invoice link for the additional time, which must be settled within 24 hours. Please note that all other incidental expenses incurred during the charter—such as highway tolls, parking fees, and entrance tickets—must be paid directly to the driver in cash (Japanese Yen).
• Accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible taxis are available upon request. Please contact us in advance for details.

Vehicle Capacity & Luggage: Our standard-size taxis can comfortably carry up to 4 passengers (1 in the front, 3 in the rear). Please note that trunk space is limited; standard taxis cannot accommodate large suitcases. We kindly ask that you plan your luggage storage accordingly before boarding.

Required Minimum Charter Length: Okinawa is a long and narrow island stretching over 100 kilometers from north to south. Traveling between regions takes time, especially during peak traffic hours. To ensure a safe and realistic itinerary, the following minimum booking requirements apply for charters departing from and returning to the Naha area:

• 4-Hour Booking: Limited to sightseeing within Naha City only.
• 5-Hour Booking: Applies to Naha City and the Southern area (Urasoe and further south).
• 6-Hour Minimum: Required for traveling to the Central/Northern resort areas (Onna Village, Nago).
• 7-Hour Minimum: Required for trips to the Ocean Expo Park / Churaumi Aquarium (Motobu area) and the Yambaru National Park area.

*All listed prices include consumption tax.

Rates

*Charter prices include the cost of the vehicle, driver, and fuel only. Highway tolls, parking fees, admission to tourist facilities, and all other expenses that may occur during the charter service must be paid by the client on the spot. Please make sure you have some yen in cash on hand on the day of the service.

Due to current global conditions affecting fuel and other prices, our rates may increase without prior notice in the near future.

While we are making every effort to maintain our current rates for as long as possible, our partner taxi and bus operators may revise their pricing in response to rising fuel and other costs.

• - All rates shown above include tax.
• - Charter prices include the cost of vehicle, driver and fuel only. Highway tolls, parking fees, admission to tourist facilities and all other expenses that may occur during the charter service must be paid by the client on the spot in yen. • - The charter time starts when passengers board the vehicle at the pick-up point and ends when passengers exit the vehicle.
• - Smoking is prohibited in all taxis.
• - The passenger limit for each vehicle is determined by law. If there is an increase in the number of passengers without advance notice on the day of the reservation, the charter may have to be canceled.
• - No money will be refunded if the charter is canceled due to violation of any of the rules listed above. If the vehicle is returned with a dirty interior, customer must pay for complete cleaning. Customer will be charged for any theft or damage to the vehicle if customer is deemed responsible.
  - We, Island Life Concierge, act solely as an agent between the client and the service provider, and we are not liable for any injury or death that may occur during the services reserved through us.

Cancellation policy

• - Cancellations made 4-6 days prior to the service date will be charged 30 percent of the  quoted full rate as a cancellation fee.
• - Cancellations made 1-3 days prior to the service date will be charged 50 percent of the  quoted full rate as a cancellation fee.
• - Cancellations made on the same day of service will be charged the quoted full rate as a cancellation fee.
• - Please inform us of any cancellation at least one week prior to the service date in order to avoid any cancellation fees.
• - All cancellations must be received by Island Life Concierge during office hours. Office hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00 (local Japanese time)

Reservation deadline

• - Reservations made by email or through the online reservation form: Five days in advance (reservations accepted until 12:00 noon)
